April Armored trucks inherited by BCS Government could be auctioned

More than 10 armored trucks could be auctioned in April; it is not yet known where the proceeds will go, according to BCS Finance.

Earlier, during a press conference, the head of Finance of the state of Baja California Sur, Bertha Montaño Cota, announced that the armored trucks inherited from the previous administration would be auctioned next month.

“We are also in the process of putting together the dossiers, which are going to be the vans and how the legal mechanism will be, to put it together legally and the idea is that in April we will put them up for auction,” said the official.

It is worth mentioning that during his visit to Comondú, at the beginning of this month, the head of the state Executive, Víctor Castro Cosío, revealed that 11 pickup trucks would be sold, leaving one for Security and another for the Navy, and that the proceeds would be used for the purchase of ambulances.

However, Montaño Cota assured that “more than 10” trucks will be auctioned and that it has not yet been “defined exactly” where the proceeds from the auction will go.
