BCS to participate in Touristic Marketplace

Secretary Maribel Collins and businessmen will seek alliances to help improve the state’s economy.

With the purpose of promoting Baja California Sur’s tourist attractions, the head of the state’s Ministry of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability, Maribel Collins Sánchez, on behalf of Governor Víctor Manuel Castro Cosío, will attend the Tianguis Turístico to be held in Mérida, Yucatán, from November 15 to 18 of this year.

This 2021, the “Tianguis Turístico México” celebrates its 45th edition, is the most relevant event of the country’s tourism sector and a business forum based on pre-established appointments between buyers and exhibitors.

The state official invited to participate in this highly professional event in which Mexico and Baja California Sur will promote its wide variety of tourism products and project the state as a tourist destination par excellence at national and international level.

She emphasized that Baja California Sur is more than a sun and beach destination, so it is extremely important to participate in this type of events to strengthen the promotion of the entire offer, both in the domestic and international markets, and to continue promoting the development of the state’s main economic support.

Pointed out that during the meeting there will be the participation of buyers from more than 700 companies from countries of the 5 continents, in addition, for this edition more than 40 thousand pre-established business appointments have been generated, so he indicated that appointments can still be made through the “Instamatch” system online or on site.
