The National Chamber of Commerce (Canaco) announced that for the 2021 edition, El Buen Fin will last seven days and will take place from November 10 to 16. Southern California companies are preparing to offer promotions, such as interest-free credits, direct discounts on purchases or modifications to electronic wallets.
The president of Canaco, Juan Carlos Esqueda Hampl, recalled that it is the annual and seasonal sales event in Mexico, with which stores offer their products and services to consumers.
Since 2011, it has been held throughout the country with the aim of reactivating the economy, with a duration of four days; However, in 2020 the format changed due to the pandemic and the time that companies offer their discounts to consumers was extended.
They assure that the figures at the national level are encouraging, since every year there is an increase in the level of consumers. In 2020, 47 thousand 441 establishments were achieved and more than 238 billion pesos in sales.
In the case of Baja California Sur, according to Canaco, sales of more than 500 million pesos were achieved in 2020.
Due to the fact that some municipalities of the entity are already on a green traffic light, the authorities of the Federal Consumer Prosecutor’s Office (Profeco) will install commercial attention modules in the different squares, for advice or conflicts that may arise between consumer and seller.
