  • The woman is charged with two counts of manslaughter, injury and vehicular traffic damage.

Last Monday, May 30, around 7:00 p.m., on Cabo San Lucas to San José del Cabo highway, there was a crash and overturn accident involving four vehicles.

Subsequently, authorities began an investigation and identified Stephanie “N” as the probable perpetrator of the crime, who was driving a sand-colored Nissan Xtrail in an inappropriate state.

Control Judge sentenced the defendant to trial, and imposed as precautionary measures the periodic signature and the impediment to leave the city, while Social Representative was granted four months to present complementary information.

On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that the traffic caused by the car crashes on Monday affected at least 25 tourists, who missed their flights, according to Juan Carlos del Río, spokesman for the Mexican Association of Travel Agencies.

“… the removal of the collided vehicle, which was not in the way, would have been scheduled for the night hours, the impact was one of the largest that the destination has had in terms of traffic,” he said.
