In response to the needs of the state’s theater community, the Instituto Sudcaliforniano de Cultura (ISC), through the Teatro de la Ciudad de La Paz (TCLP), offers the State School of Theatrical Art.
This school will be headquartered at the TCLP facilities, which will be in charge of the school administration and the educational management of the curricula and artistic projects to be carried out by this academic institution.
This project is part of the ISC’s state development plan and will be endorsed by institutions of higher education and theatrical promotion at the national and state levels.
In this sense, on February 21, the first part of the diploma course in acting and theatrical creation will begin, which will last 300 hours, with 13 modules that follow a line of formative progression and will be taught by teachers of recognized prestige and academic quality.
It will also have official validity certified by the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS), the National Theater Company and the ISJ; the corresponding poster will be circulating in the coming days, as well as the call for two scholarships for maintenance or exemption of payment to the artistic sector throughout the state.
