Film to be shot in Los Cabos, starring Hugo Stiglitz

Local residents will also be among the cast.

The tourist destination of Los Cabos will soon be the setting for a feature film in which actor Hugo Stigliz will play the lead role. José Luis Camarillo Olachea and Jesús “Chucho” Montaño will play two policemen in this film project.

So far, no further details of the feature film have been disclosed, but it is known that all filming will take place in Los Cabos, a municipality that actor Hugo Stigliz has already visited, since in 2012, he was present at the parade of artists that graced the first edition of the Los Cabos International Film Festival, which was held at the Convention Center in San Jose del Cabo.

Hugo Stigliz, is an indisputable during the Mexican cinema of the 70’s, embodying the symbolism of a rough, tough and brave man. According to his biography, Hugo Stiglitz López was born on August 28, 1940, in Mexico City, son of Austrian businessman Sigmund Stiglitz and Mexican María de los Ángeles López.

He studied civil engineering at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, where he was a classmate of Mexican businessman Carlos Slim.

At the end of his studies, Hugo traveled to Acapulco, where he met people dedicated to the film industry, which led him to try his luck in acting, a profession to which he was attracted since he was very young.
