Loreto City Hall owes more than 316,000 pesos for use of motels and hotels

The lag is from different administrations, said the authorities of the City of Loreto; the budget for 2022 is 7% higher than this year.

The Municipality of Loreto owes various suppliers 7,085,927.12 million pesos, among which are some hotels and motels, which will be paid approximately 316,626 pesos in the short term, as revealed in the Municipality’s Revenue Law for Fiscal Year 2022.

In addition, it was pointed out in said Law that there is a historical backlog of debts owed to suppliers of goods and services that are recorded in the accounting records as pending payment from the different administrations.

Among the suppliers in this area are: Danzante Bay, Hotel Bahía Dorada Loreto, El Dorado Motel, Hotel La Misión, Hotel Oasis and Loreto Bay Inn, to mention a few. It should be noted that the list also includes a business called Cabo Wines, which is owed more than 30,000 pesos.

The figures presented in the Expenditure Law presented by the Loreto City Hall, headed by Mayor Paola Davis, intend to use around 346 million pesos in the different items for next year.
