Los Cabos students win award in Brazil for creating Lomboy's healing cream

The group of students represented Mexico in the international Science and Technology event; they won the first place for their Lomboy producer.

With a project called Nombo, students from the seventh semester of Management Engineering, from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores (ITES) of Los Cabos, presented themselves at the National Science and Technology Fair in Brazil, where they won first place; they were accredited for future events.

The team won for a cream based on Lomboy, this as part of the Technological Innovation subject, which they achieved after a series of research and tests, this healing product is also an antiseptic and anticoagulant.

As a result, they obtained three accreditations for the institution to participate internationally in the Science and Technology Fair in Sao Paulo, Brazil; the Science Camp in Russia and the Science and Technology Fair in London.

The young people who participated are Jenifer Andrea Sosa, Silvia Briseño, Juan Pablo Valenzuela Gullins and Edgar Zahid Arvizu Cañedo, who were advised by Lesly Nicolás, supported by Gisela García Sánchez from the Management Engineering Division.

In their opportunity, the students assured that it was a unique and unforgettable experience, since they represented both the country and the municipality of Los Cabos, which represents an opportunity for growth.
