On Friday, December 10, Sector 9 of Public Security was inaugurated in La Paz, which will reinforce surveillance tasks in the south of the city; it will have 28 police officers for 10,000 homes, informed the municipal president, Milena Quiroga.
In her message, the Mayor said that it is important to guarantee peace and security for women “and with the co-responsibility and commitment of our police officers we will demonstrate how security in La Paz is possible”, she declared.
This Comandancia will be located in the La Fuente neighborhood, and will have a reinforcement of 28 police officers and 3 officers, in an area of 10,000 homes.
The benefited neighbors are spread over 12 surrounding neighborhoods, said the General Director of Municipal Police and Transit, Lieutenant Rut de la Fuente Velázquez.
