The project “Dilo con señas” was designed by UABCS students; it won a silver medal in the 2021 edition of the international fair in Paraguay.

The event was held virtually, from November 16 to 19, with international participation from different universities, who presented their scientific and technological work.

The team representing UABCS and Mexico was formed by the seventh semester students of the Computer Technology Engineering program: Daniela Muñoz Siurob, Iván Alberto Negrete Ojeda and Jesús Iván Beltrán Moreno.

The “Gatos Salvajes” contingent presented a device called “Dilo con Señas”, which seeks to create a useful learning and teaching tool to help connect with people, breaking the communication barriers that exist between those who communicate with sign language and those who do not, they said.
