The last sport fishing tournament of the season in Los Cabos will start next November 27th and 28th, it is the “Orsan” tournament created with local anglers in mind, guaranteeing great prizes with accessible entries.
This year is the eighth tournament and there is a purse of 600,000 pesos to be distributed, with a first place of 300,000 pesos, 200,000 pesos for second place and 100,000 pesos for third place. The species to be fished are dorado and wahoo.
The registration fee is 4,509 pesos and the only registration date is November 27th at the Cabo San Lucas marina from 12 to 7 pm. The fishing day will be November 28th from 7 am to 4 pm.
Up to two dorado per team may be weighed, as long as each one exceeds the weight of 15 pounds, for the purpose of the guaranteed prizes. The Wahoo will not have a minimum weight, the heaviest one will win.
One of the organizers of the tournament, Clicerio Mercado, pointed out that this local tournament is expected to generate an economic benefit of 10 million pesos to the economy of Los Cabos, in addition to being an event with a social cause and it is planned to donate 50 wheelchairs to the Municipal DIF and 10 to the Rotary Club.
