Cecyte students in BCS won 18 medals in athletics 14 of them were gold

The contingent of the Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado (Cecyte) of Baja California Sur (BCS) won the athletics medal at the XVII National Sports Meeting of the educational institution, held from November 22 to 25 this year in Aguascalientes.

With a contingent of 12 athletes, 6 men’s and 6 women’s, the students showed off their preparation and physical conditioning, putting the name of BCS and the educational subsystem on high, winning a total of 18 medals, 14 of them gold and 4 silver.

Imer Noé Osuna Cárdenas, Cecyte’s Director of Liaison, was in charge of the Southcalifornian contingent and highlighted the continuous support and backing provided by General Director Roberto Pantoja Castro.

He also emphasized that the Director General expressed his appreciation to the students who won the national medal in this competition.
