Everything is ready for the approximate arrival of 300 teams
All the reflectors will point towards the city of La Paz with the traditional Baja 1000 Off Road race; It will be on November 19 and 20 when the mother of all races will be held, which will host hundreds of competitors from different parts of the world, said the director of Tourism Promotion of the State Secretariat of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability (SETUES ) Thalia Agúndez Arámburo.
The reconnaissance tours began on October 23 throughout the peninsula, which represents the beginning of the economic spill that they will leave as they pass through the state geography, which is expected to be 12 million dollars, thus benefiting the hotel sectors and a restaurateur, convenience stores, gas stations, among others, Agúndez Arámburo mentioned.
The state official announced that so far 271 teams have been registered, of the 300 expected for this edition, which will seek to position themselves in the first places in the different categories; registration remains open until November 17 at Score Ensenada offices.
Finally, Agúndez Arámburo mentioned that the departure of the first motorcyclists will be the early morning of Thursday, November 18 from Ensenada Baja California, of which their arrival is expected the first hours of Friday 19 to the city of La Paz, and as for the award ceremony, he pointed out that it will be on Saturday 20 at 20:00 in the finish area.
