University of La Paz announces the Pesquerías Triathlon 2021; it will be held on November 21

Cyclists, swimmers and runners, from 23 years of age and older and in teams, will be able to participate, informed the Autonomous University of BCS.

The Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS) called cyclists and sprinters to participate in the traditional “Triathlon Pesquerías 2021”, which will be held on November 21 at Pichilingue Beach, starting at 7:00 am, they informed.

The competition is open to men and women from 23 years of age and older, who must register in the category that corresponds to their age range, with a quota for 130 individuals and 20 teams, who will swim 750 meters, cycle 20 kilometers (km) and run 5 kilometers (km), depending on the sport they belong to.

“As for the recovery costs, in the case of ‘sprint’ is $650 and relay $1,050, which entitles the competitor package to helmet, bike and race, official swim cap, supplies en route and finish line, commemorative cap and a number holder to the first 50 registered” they mentioned.

The awards will be medals for all finalists, trophies for the first 3 places in each category and recognition of fourth and fifth place; for those who do not complete a minimum of 5 people in their team, will be delivered in a category below their age, said the UABCS.

“Registrations are now open and must be made through the website www.timermexico.com, with a deadline of 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17 or until all places are taken,” said the institution.
