According to the organizers and the players La Paz has been one of the best places where they like to play because the public is very supportive and involved.
With only 3 days to go before the start of the North, Central America and Caribbean (Norceca) beach volleyball tournament, the general director of the Southcalifornian Sports Institute (Insude), Gilberto Garciglia Higuera, made a supervisory tour of the areas where the event will be held in La Paz.
“We are practically ready to welcome with open arms the International Beach Volleyball Tour in its third edition, where 10 countries will be participating, among them the Mexican pairs in both branches, 15 women and 15 men, who will be playing from Friday to Sunday,” he said.
In his tour, Garciglia Higuera said that since the beginning of this administration has been a priority sports progress in Baja California Sur (BCS).
Finally, he said that an estimated of 2,000 people are expected to be located in the 2 playing fields and an additional one for warm-up, in addition to having 2 screens that will be installed for this edition.
