Russian aircraft lands at San Jose del Cabo airport

The aircraft can transport more than 300 people.

Los Cabos International Airport, located in San Jose del Cabo, informed that during Tuesday, March 8th, an Airbus A330 aircraft of Nordwind Airlines, based in Moscow, Russia, was in transit.

They explained that this aircraft came from Yelizovo (Russian: Аэропорт Елизово) airport (IATA: PKC, ICAO: UHPP) an airport located in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Kamchatka krai.

“Its 3,400 meters of runway make it long enough to accommodate a fully loaded Ilyushin Il-76 or a Boeing 707 aircraft,” they said of the Los Cabos international airport.

So far, there are no further details of this landing, which has attracted attention among social media users.

Unofficially it is said that the aircraft was Russian flagged, at least until a few days ago, and that the aircraft is on its way back to its original owner, as it was leased to the Russian airline, Nordwind Airlines, a charter company.
