Light aircraft crash-landed in San Juanico BCS

The light aircraft that crashed near San Juanico was rescued and transported in two boats to be repaired at Adolfo López Mateos port.

The company Guaymex, owner of the light aircraft that crashed on Saturday, November 27th in the San Juanico area, rescued its aircraft yesterday morning, aboard two boats that took it to the Adolfo López Mateos community, where it will be repaired at the company’s facility

The above, after the Cessna light aircraft, with license plate XB-GMX, had two engine failures, with the pilot and co-pilot as the only crew members, who were flying over Comundeño territory.

Both had to show their expertise in order to control the craft and land as safely as possible in the estuary known as El Batequi.

The objective of the flight was to search for sardine shoals, which was interrupted by the failure; both the pilot and his companion suffered some bruises and “were able to live to tell the tale”, so they only required medical attention, according to the company responsible.
